The mission of the Intermountain Interclub Association is clear: to nurture the development of figure skating by empowering clubs, coaches, and skaters with resources, knowledge, and experiences that elevate the sport at every level. The IIA envisions a thriving figure skating community where athletes of all ages and abilities can pursue their dreams, foster friendships, and develop skills that will serve them both on and off the ice.
Our vision extends beyond the ice rink. We believe that figure skating is more than just jumps and spins—it’s an avenue for personal growth, creative expression, and community engagement. Central to our purpose is the commitment to making the sport accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone who wishes to glide into the world of skating.
Serving the Intermountain Region
The Intermountain region, stretching across Utah and neighboring areas, is known for its breathtaking landscapes, resilient communities, and a deep appreciation for winter sports. Within this environment, the IIA unites a network of 10 Utah clubs, each with its own history and traditions, yet all sharing a common goal: to advance figure skating while supporting their members.
